Project Update | New Mixed-Use Scheme
Proposals for a new mixed-use residential and retail scheme designed by Crawford to be submitted for pre-planning application discussions
The proposals located on a prominent site in Enfield, North London, will create 40, one, two and three bedroom flats along with a retail ‘corner store’ unit, in a new 5 storey building. Crawford Partnership are investigating the incorporation of timber framed, modular off-site construction for the structure of the new building, with a palette of tactile façade materials that include stone, Corten steel and Shou Sugi Ban charred cypress boards. Following feedback from the local planning authority, we anticipate submitting a full planning application in Spring 2019.
