Crawford Partnership attended the RIBA North London event last night discussing "The Changing Role of the Architect"

Chaired by Vice Chairman of the North London Architects Group, John McRae, the discussion panel was made up of Thomas Saunders, Joe Haire and Vicky Richardson, providing a broad spectrum of experiences and perspectives from within and outside the profession. The discussion, which covered a number of current topics, was an opportunity to share ideas amongst professionals from the design and construction industry.

Topics discussed ranged from the history of the profession in relation to regulation and the how the role has changed in the last half-century, to the impact of Brexit, and what the future might bring within the context of robotics, automation and artificial intelligence. Hosted by Schueco in their central London showroom, the event also offered the opportunity for further informal discussion and networking with refreshments.
